Each year, the Orange County Council of PTA recognizes local PTAs/PTSAs that do incredible things for the community’s children; advocating for everychild, onevoice.
We’d like to celebrate PTA/PTSA achievements at our Annual Awards Banquet. Simply click on the links below to access the forms to nominate a local PTA/PTSA unit for their hard work.
Award applications are due by March 31, 2017.
Literacy Award – This award is for PTAs who have promoted efforts to increase reading, instruction, and literacy through events, programs, or activities.
Diversity and Inclusion Award – This award is for PTAs who have implemented a program/project in increase or strengthen diversity and inclusion efforts.
Helping Hand Award – This award is for PTAs/PTSAs that have helped other PTAs/PTSAs or worked together on programs/projects.
Student Involvement Award – This award is to recognize a student or student group for outstanding efforts within their PTA/PTSA, school, and community.
Health & Wellness Award – This award is for PTAs/PTSAs that implemented a project or program to promote awareness of health, wellness, and physical activity issues.
Advocacy Award – This award is for PTAs/PTSAs advocating on behalf of all children at school, community or state and national level Examples: Training parents and students to be better advocates, enhancing their roles in decision-making in educational issues, legislative activities supportive of the education, health and welfare of students
Environmental Award – This award is for PTAs/PTSAs promoting conservation and environmental awareness in their schools and communities.
Building a Better Community Award – This award is for PTAs/PTSAs that have made efforts to better their community
Arts in Education Award – This award is for PTAs/PTSAs that have used programs/projects to better the Arts in their community and schools.
School Pride Award – This award is for PTAs/PTSAs whose schools have shown school pride.
Family Engagement Award – This award is for PTAs/PTSAs that have made great efforts to engage families in their schools and communities.
Business Partnership Award – This award is for a business who has partnered up to help PTAs/PTSAs.
PTA President of the Year Award – This award is for PTA/PTSA presidents who have gone above and beyond in their schools and communities.
Educator of the Year Award – This award is for educators who have gone above and beyond in their schools and communities.
Administrator of the Year Award – This award is for administrators who have gone above and beyond in their schools and communities.
Volunteer of the Year Award – This award is for volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their schools and communities.
Website of the Year Award – This award is for PTAs/PTSAs that have amazing websites.
