We are still accepting applications for the following positions:
Treasurer: Reconcile bank statement immediately upon receipt; Submit written reports for each bank account at regular meetings of the executive board and the association. Adhere to PTA Dollars & Sense Guidelines; Provide training and assistance to local units, and additional duties/tasks.

Awards & Scholarship: Create scholarship questions/forms, form committee to evaluate essays and award to students. Participate and financial development to increase funds for Scholarship. Report Winners to Council and the Foundation. Notify scholarship recipients via letter. Invite them to award ceremony. Gather college info from recipient
Environmental: Encourage and provide training to local units to support environmental education; Promote the importance for our children to understand their role in environmental maintenance and clean environment initiatives. Offer activities or workshops that contribute directly to success and well-being of children
Membership: Develop Plan of Action to increase overall PTA membership in Orange County; Provide at least two workshops for PTA leaders; Maintain OCCPTA county dues roster to ensure all units are compliant with dues and offer incentive contests in Fall and Spring
Local Unit Assistance Director– West: Responsibilities include providing support to local PTA leaders to ensure they are empowered with proper training, protocols, skills development and adherence to PTA policies and procedures. This position is the immediate link between OCCPTA and local units for assistance. Directors may attend local unit meetings when requested. Host at least one Officers Roundtable for the area.
