PTA/PTSA Leaders: Do you have a great idea to improve standards for PTA/PTSA/PTSA at your school? The Orange Council of PTA/PTSAs would like to help by providing funds to worthwhile programs that will accomplish these objectives.
What is the scope of these grants? The Orange County Council of PTA/PTSAs has set aside $3,000 for the 2016-2017 school year to award grants to our local units to support their projects, programs and training. This year, we will offer grants to local units ranging from $100- $500. The Orange Council of PTA/PTSAs reserves the right not to award the full amount allocated should we fail to receive enough qualified applications or should the Grants Committee deem the submitted projects not to be “grant-worthy.”
Who may apply for a grant? Any Local unit PTA/PTSAs who are in good standing with the Orange County Council of PTA/PTSAs and with the Florida PTA may apply for a grant. To be in good standing, you must have paid your Council dues and must be current on your FL PTA/PTSA requirements. While local units may submit more than one grant application, each unit is eligible for only one OCCPTA grant per school year.
Applications Due:
The deadline for activity/program grants will be April 9th, 2017.
The deadline for FL PTA Convention Grants will be May 26, 2017.
