It is with a heavy heart and great sadness we share with you the loss of Valerie Radcliffe.
She was a powerhouse child advocate and PTA leader at the local and county level for over 20 years. Valerie was a fierce warrior for all children, especially her own. She also opened her heart and home to many foster kids. Val advocated on every level to make the life of EVERY child better.She was kind, patient, a feisty badass who stood up for what was right. We are all better for having known Valerie. Forever in our hearts.
Please keep her husband, children, family, and friends in your prayers. Valerie was currently serving as an officer for Apopka High School PTSA and will be greatly missed by the Apopka High School family.
Tonight at the OCPS School Board meeting, there will be a moment of silence to honor Valerie for her service to all children and families.
