The Orange County Council PTAs/PTSAs’ Teen Leadership Academy guides student leaders to become effective advocates. Students will receive training to help them advocate for themselves, their education, their classmates, and their school.

Students are nominated through their school or PTSA board to participate in this program for youth. Students will complete monthly Saturday workshops on leadership, public speaking, business etiquette, civics and grassroots advocacy and a field experience day at the state Capitol in Tallahassee during the legislative session.

Saturdays beginning January 2022.
